Characteristics of argon compressor
Characteristics of argon compressor
Argon compressor mainly has the following special characteristics:
Medium characteristics: Argon is an inert gas with stable chemical properties, but oil contact should be strictly avoided during compression, otherwise safety problems may occur. Therefore, argon compressors are usually designed without oil to ensure that the purity of gas is not contaminated.
Drive mode diversity: Argon compressors can be driven by motor or gas turbine. Motor drive requires a special power transmission and distribution system, which is suitable for areas with stable power grid and low electricity price; gas turbine drive requires additional gas system, which is suitable for scenarios with high requirements on power supply reliability.
Argon compressors are widely used in industries requiring high purity of gases, in addition to industrial applications. Their oil-free design prevents potential contamination of products with lubricants and ensures the safety of food and medical grade products.
Structure and performance
Sealing design: use imported high quality sealing to ensure gas leakage.
Pressure control: the driving air pressure is recommended to be less than 8bar to avoid excessive wear of the piston.
Compression ratio range: from 1:1 to 100:1, suitable for different pressure demand scenarios.
