Application of argon compressor
Working principle of argon compressor:
The working principle of an argon compressor is based on the general principles of gas compressors, which convert mechanical energy into gas pressure. In a cryogenic liquid argon tank, the top of the liquid argon evaporates into argon gas. When the pressure exceeds 17 bar, the safety valve opens and discharges the excess gas. Therefore, it is necessary to recover and reuse this base argon gas. Using an argon compressor can re-fill the argon gas into cylinders. Thus, the suction pressure of an argon compressor ranges from 5-17 bar, the filling pressure ranges from 200-250 bar, and the flow rate can be 10 nm³/h to 100 nm³/h or higher
Application of argon compressor:
1.Applications in 3D printing:
Argon gas is mainly used in 3D printing for the preparation of metal powder. The liquid metal is broken into tiny droplets through high-speed flow of argon gas by means of aerosolization process, forming metal powder. This process requires the use of argon compressor to pressurize argon gas, so as to effectively carry out atomization.
2.Argon recovery system:
During the use of argon gas, to reduce production costs and protect the environment, argon recovery systems are widely applied. The system pressurizes, filters, and purifies used argon gas through a compressor, making it reusable. The argon compressor plays a crucial role in this process, ensuring efficient recovery and reuse of argon gas.
3. Other industrial applications: Argon compressors are also used in low temperature superconductivity, laser forming, powder treatment, hard alloy, photovoltaic crystal pulling and scientific research, etc., which have a large demand for argon and require high purity and pressure of argon, so argon compressors are needed to meet these requirements.
